Studio newborn sessions are designed to not only capture your new baby’s newborn stage but to pamper the new mom as well. The studio sessions take place at my Kearny Mesa studio. We will start our session at 9:30 am on a weekday. Upon arrival, my amazing make-up artist will pamper mom with hair and makeup, which is included in your session fee. I will then proceed to photograph the baby alone in different poses and outfits. Once mom is ready, we will proceed to capture family photos with the new bundle of joy. You can expect the experience to take anywhere from 3-4 hours. And don’t worry, I have plenty of treats, coffee, water, and seltzers ready for your enjoyment!

Lifestyle newborn sessions are all about capturing the connection and love that surrounds a family during the first weeks of a babe’s birth. I photograph the raw and the beautiful of this special time. While I make sure to guide you with posing and prompts, I respect your space and wait for those real moments to happen, the ones with all the magic, the ones you will remember forever. You can expect our time together to last anywhere from 1-2 hours, depending on the baby and the situation. Lifestyle sessions are best when done early in the morning. I do not start sessions past 12pm. You do not have to worry about deep cleaning your house, you already have enough going on momma! I usually shoot in a few spots with the best light around your house. Just sit and relax! Let me do the work.
